many years will it take before i'm relegated to "Cat Lady" status?

Not the most serious of questions, but hey...thought the answers would be interesting at least as I'm bored at work. ;)

Thanks for taking the time to entertain me.

Cat lady status is mid-30's and linked to the possession of 10+ felines. Naming the felines also increases status depending on names like foofie, Mr Jingles, Thor and Queen Bess.

If you find yourself cleaning litterboxes as your zen activity and constantly talking to and dressing up your cats your also soon to be tossing them at strangers.

Well if you like cats, and turn into an old spinster type lady around 80 years of age, just subtract your current age from that and you will have your time frame. If on the other hand you like doing the "Bouncing Betty" with all these guys you run away from and only run when they get stupid with some kinda, "I want to make her take care of me for the rest of my worthless life" crap, and you don't want to be tied to some moron just because he know how to play hide the salami like a pro, Then you will never be an old cat lady. They may call you other names, but hey! If they can't take a joke let 'em gag on their own shlongs........

I hope you never end up as a " Cat Lady" you just have to be willing to let youself get close to someone and make sure that you love them. If not then keep looking unless you want the "Cat Lady" Status. I don't know anyone who does.

Dear Jess,

You're very attractive, and no doubt have many a man chasing after you, and some no doubt seeking marriage. :-)

However, the Cat Lady will sooner or later get you, if the incredible loneliness or superficiality of one short-term relationship after another doesn't get you first. :P

5 years alone and 5 cats. Untill you hit that 5 cat mark, you're just weird. For full "Cat Lady" glory, you need 5 cats.

marriage is an antiquainted system that is for people who watched too many aaron spelling shows growing up (if you're a gen x'er like me).

in fact, every generation gets their own special form of marriage medicine. that's what i call wars, tradition, famines, droughts, religion, national emergencies etc. all these crazy games politicians play, such as banning gays from recognized marriage also contribute to this non-sense. it's these events that keep people scared and keeps them gettin' married.

i won't fall for it. i'm quite happy being single.
