Ok you liked him before you found out his age, that makes a lot of sense, sounds like you wanted to have sexual relations with him, then you found out how old he is, and now feel sicken because he is a little older than your age limit, if you really liked him as far as wanting to get to know him and date him, age wouldn't have mattered, and if you're that crappy of a person why try to justify it by giving him the run around when you've most likely already put it out there for him, yeah i agree you should be honest with him, I'm sure he will ge the hint and find another friend!

How much older is he? Are you at least eightteen? Sometimes age differences can be overcome. I'm married to a man eight years my senior, but it works really well. If you can't overcome it, be gentle but truthful. "I like you, but I'd prefer to date someone closer to my own age." If he's a decent guy, he'll understand. If he's not, feel free to be brutal because he won't get it any other way.
