Just this morning I was getting suspicious of that good feeling chocolate produces, figured that I was getting addicted, and so I fed a half gallon of chocolate ice cream to the cats. (I gave up TV for the same reason!)

Chocolate actually triggers neurotransmitters and pathways that are part of the reward circuitry in the brain. So, it can actually give you a "feel good" kind of high.
