It's pretty good when spotting gay men, but could use some work for spotting lesbians.

That's pretty good.
I don't think mine is that good. But then there have been guys who sent my gaydar buzzing, who proved out to be living a straight life...and then I find out much later, that the straight stuff he was doing was all phony, and he was gay all along. So some of my wrong sightings are probably better categorized "not yet" rather than "sorry, he's straight."
But put me down at about 75 or 80%

Gaydar is not real. There are some people who are more perceptive then others, but that has nothing to do with gaydar. Nobody has ever guessed I'm bi, they think I'm straight or a lesbian due to who I'm hanging out with. I bet you wouldn't guess right either.

I have horrible gaydar. I have even been to drag shows in Vegas and said, "oh, I bet he's straight"

I guess I'm about 60% maybe more. I do pretty well with women, but that usually has to do with the subtle physical and verbal responses that they are sending back to me. Men are a little harder for me (unless they are really flamboyant).

girl's are definately harder to tell. i have found, however, that if i am attracted to someone, be they male or female, it usually means they're queer, probably because i dig androgyny.
and straight people *always* think they have good gaydar. i hate to break it to you, but in reality it usually sucks. gay people can blow it just as bad, but at least they have *something* to go on...

I can tell sometimes. Well, if the person behave like gays, that is easy to say. But I know some people looks really straight. They are fathers or rought looking... but gays. Boy that really surprised me. After that I realize that we might have more or those that do not look like gays to us.
