I'm guessing that you use dialup AOL? If so, just sign in as usual, then minimize the AOL screen, and open Firefox. Just stay signed into AOL.

(Oh, and download Firefox if you haven't already! :) )

If you are using AOL to connect to the internet, you can still use a different browser. If Firefox is not already downloaded and installed, go to getfirefox.com and do so. Once it is installed on your system, you're all set.

Once you are connected to AOL, you are connected to the internet. Simply minimize the AOL window (with the little minus sign button in the upper right hand corner) and open Firefox. It should work just fine.

Good choice in browser by the way. Firefox is the safest, best equipped browser I have ever used. Enjoy!

Yep.

If AOL is your ISP than just open AOL, sign in, then minimize it and open Firefox.

Well first you need to download and install it and you can do that here: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/

when you install it, make sure you select it as your default browser or go to Tools>>Options>> General and click on "Firefox should check to see if it is the default browser when starting."
