I'm having trouble retreiving data from an old disk what can I do to access the file?

Data recovery can be expensive.

I suggest running a search on "Floppy data recovery" and you will get several hits for various companies and software applications which can handle the job.

you did not mention what kind of disk is it. whether it is FDD, HDD ????
