When I was a teenager I used pads for a few months, then finally got the guts to try tampons because I wanted to go to a swim party, have used tampons ever since, but usually wear scented pantyliner with it. I just purchased "Instead" from Walmart, will try it when I start my next period. It's like a menstrual 'cup' that's like latex I think, you insert it, and it collects your flow with no need to change it for 12 hours! You can also have sex with it in also. Sounds incredible to me, I've read good reviews about it by women who tried it, but haven't even opened the box yet myself. I'll let you know. Take care!

I only use pads at night, and tampons all other times. Occasionally tampons at night but not often.

I normally use tampons because I find them easier but sometimes only a pad will do! It depends how I'm feeling. Neither one is wrong or right, just what makes you feel comfortable.

I prefer a pad over a tampon. Tampons tend to make me cramp worse.

I'm a pad girl. I usually wear Stayfree long maxis, but I recently started wearing Always maxi pads. And to all those who say pads feel like a diaper, your wrong I find my pads very comfortable and I feel so confident that I will not have an embarrassing accident while wearing a pad.

I use tampons; pads leak too often. On the heaviest day, I use both.
