Why do so many people want to impeach Bush. Then Cheney would be the President. Isn't that worse?

Once again, why do so few of you answer the question.
I don't care if you think Liberals or Conservatives are stupid. If that's what you want to post then post it somewhere else, maybe in a Political forum. Here I'm just looking for opinions on the question asked.

Absolutely nothing. Chene would automatically be president than. As a leader neither of them would be better. Bush is an idiot, he hasn't vetoed any bills but one if I recall properly.
Bush has no management, public administration, or civil skills and totally lacks at all the features a presidential candidate should have.
Cheney has the management skills and the mind set so he pretty much is the man who runs the show and Bush just goes along because his families pockets and influences just get bigger and bigger.
For asking "Isn't that worse?" It's the same thing. To rebirth America after the Bush administration won't be in four years or eight years. The next administration and the administration after that and etcetra will be stuck cleaning up all of dear president bushs' disastorious mistakes, screw ups, and ideas of peace and war and the "interest" of the American people, as a America is supposed to be a "democratic" country.
Therefore in my opinion I do not see a change in the administration immedialty making changes. These changes will occur over years and years.
We must voice ourselves. Impeachment is possible, a call to impeach is an amazing way to voice your concerns of a bad president and by law president bush has violated his sworn in oath by his domestic eavesdropping program as well as other aspects which I do not want to further divulge into.
The bottom line is, Bush or Cheney it doesn't matter. A new administration well of course make changes but these changes will take place over the course of years and years maybe through the shift of another 2-3 administrations.

What would it do....Well how about this.
- If he was impeached, tried and convicted, it would prove he has commited high crimes and misdemeanors and prove that no one is above the law.
- Yes, Cheney would be President, but he'd likely be a "lameduck" do nothing, having been chastened by Bush's impeachment and he'd simply hide 'til the end of the administration.
Now, having said this, I'd prefer Bush to not be removed from office, since it's too late to make much difference in the mess we're in. Any future adminstration is going to have to spend it's first 4 years attempting to fix the disasters that were created under Bush.
Plus, at this point it would be far to disruptive to the economy and could momentarily weaken the nation. I'd love to see him prosecuted after leaving office, but most likely it should just be dropped and the GOP be made to pay for even nominating such a walking disaster. How? By taking every opportunity to remind them of how badly they screwed up and watching them get flushed from office!
Zippy, get a clue. Mid term elections are coming. The GOP could lose the HOUSE & SENATE, making impeachment a possibility.
And the reason people scream for it, is to say payback is a *****.....they remember the GOP witch hunts on Clinton and his BJ....ahh, how quickly they forget...

Both Johnson and Clinton were impeached because the House of Representatives turned against him. Bush has the backing of both the House and Senate, so a Bush impeachment is out of the question.
Why do Bush haters always scream for impeachment when there is a much simplier way to get rid of his policies?
VOTE.
All 435 members of the House and 34 members of the Senate are up for election this fall. People should vote all the bums in Congress OUT then Bush won't have a leg to stand on. Those who blame Bush for the war in Iraq never seem to mention that it was Congress that gave Bush the green light, Congress that approiated the money for the war.

It would show the world we are not united behind Bush and perhaps start the world towards admiring America again. America was the most admired nation in the world. The "beacon of light" on the hill as Reagan said it. We have lost that under Bush
To make matters worse, whoever Cheney chooses to be VP would have a head start at winning the 08 election. So let's just vote in the Dems to get a balance of power again in 06, and then Bush will be a lame duck.

i think that the Atlanta Hawks will win the NBA Champinship till now George W. Bush is impeached and since the Hawks at the instant are not favored to win the NBA Championship each time quickly, Bush heavily isn't impeached each time quickly and whether the Hawks win the NBA Championshp in 2008, it will be too late to question Bush through 2008 Presidential Election.

Since I'm both depending on the topic. I'll pose an alternate set of questions.
LIberals only-- What would be accomplished by impeaching Bush successfully or not?
Conservatives only-- What happened to the frugality you preached for so many decades?

I think it would be a better choice to let him finish out his term and start fresh with someone new. I don't think it would benefit our country to keep impeaching our presidents. Maybe, if we would actually elect someone that isn't a high rated political figure. A Joe Average that knows what America is like outside of the political "circle". We could get out of this political slump and start living our lives again, rather than worry what the president is going to do next. Politics suck and so do politicians. Vote for your neighbor next election.

President Bush or Vice-President Cheney has not committed any impeachable offenses. Both of them are great leaders.

Yes! impeach Bush, He lied to the people of the USA the reason why he invaded Iraq. Costing over 2500 US troops their lives, thousands injured seriously, and the tens of thousands of dead Iraqis......more than enough to Impeach him.
Cheney will then be out in the open, with no where to hide..

They are both good. Bush is the better President. Cheney is very intelligent, but lacks the political nicey nices that people like to see.
