left two candy wrappers in there. We vowed to diet together, and she broke the deal. Should I confront her about this and work it out, or get a divorce? It's complete betrayal, don't you think?

Give us a break...divorce over a diet covenant.

My wife and I have also battled weight with varying degrees of success and failures.

I myself have other demons that I battle in which I have done great and failed miserably on.

Hopefully none of my failures cause my wife to divorce me. The same goes the other way...none of her failures would cause me to divorce her.

There is a part of a marriage commitment/vow about for better or worse, in sickness and health...I've made a lifetime commitment and I refuse to break that vow!!!

We are all human...not perfect beings and thus grace is always a vital component to a successful marriage.

My sympathy to your broken heart...perhaps some forgiveness and grace would help to mend that hurt.

are your serious? how can you even think about divorce over something so small as finding candy wrappers. i understand she broke a promise but it REALLY is not that serious at all. just tell her you know what shes been eating and make it into a joke. its ONLY CANDY. its not like she cheated on you with 10 different people or she took your live savings. relax.

No you should not get divorced...there are far more things to worry about in life than candy wrappers. Buy her a big box of fattening chocolates and tell her she's caught.

SHUT UP AND STOP BEING NARROW MINDED! Just because you two vowled on a diet dosent mean she's going to be perfect about it. HELLO ITS CALLED CRAVINGS! im sure u promised not to do a lot of things. Give the women a break. I hope you do divorse her so she can find an intellegent man. Not a man off the streets that dosent think before he reacts!

You need to tell her you found the wrappers. You can tell her you're upset with her cheating on the diet.

Divorcing over this..........you need to get some of you're piorites straight.

No u arent cheated.Diet vows arent a part of marriage consummation! As far as divorce is concerned, live separate eaters under one roof.

You are going to divorce her because she had twon candy bars? wow. Maybe they were there from before you started the diet. And if you are both losing weight (which i imagine is why you are dieting) then why does it matter?
