The quote is quite accurate. I love history. History is what makes us who we are; it tells us where we've been and helps us make wise decisions for the future. Plus, it is nice to know the basis for various political conflicts and to have a trove of facts and figures for debating.

History I have no problem with. The history teacher is usually the boring one. I have never had an enthusiastic teacher. Instead it was always the coach who had to teach it to have a job.

history is ok.. but i think we should learn about history so we know our past and how we got to today. also, they say that history repeats itself, so we should study history so that we don't make the same mistakes we did in the past.

hated history when I was a kid. it was interesting that the things happened, but who gives a s*** what the date was?
