Muslims believe in the messiah/mahdi. Jews believe in the messiah. Christians believe in Jesus the messiah to return.

Whose messiah will it be? Everyone's.
Muslims believe that Jesus Christ the Messiah will return. They call him Messiyah Iesa. He will defeat the anti-Christ called Ad-Dajaal. Jews wait for a messiah who will be king. Christians wait for Jesus to return. It seems that Jesus could fulfill the role for all three Abrahamic religions. (Note, however, neither Muslims nor Jews believe that Jesus is the son of God.)

Do not think so.
All the official religions tend to simplify the G-d perception for the people. Messiah part is also simplification. "if you do not behave, Daddy will come and punish you. If you do behave, you get a candy". Is it simple like that?
You have a nice article on the differences between messiah perception between the religions. So, if messiah comes, who's representative it will be? Jews? Christians? Muslims? Old story as everyone claims that only their truth certification is the best and the only.
G-d exists. And I truly believe that common sense will finally out-power common madness. But the solution will not come from outside. People should resolve the problems themselves.

I'm praying for the return of Jesus. In order for the messiah/mahdi to return, the infidel (that's us) must be eliminated from the earth. I really have a problem with that concept.

there is not any longer peace in this Earth back. whilst Jesus the Messiah returns he will return for His Bride the Church (Believers and followers in Christ). he won't return to make peace. actual after he returns there'll be utter Chaos. The Tribulation era will initiate and the Anti-Christ will arise and take ability. And he will propose a international piece treaty which would be a fake one. So i do no longer think that Jesus will deliver eternal peace to the international. and that i do no longer pray for it with the aid of fact the Bible tells me that it is not going to ensue.

each religion has its own messiah. when will any of them come, nobody is wiser.

should one come, he may ask why there is no love for one another race or nationality without resorting to use of religion as excuse for exerting any rights.

he may ask for the true meaning of the teachings in the religious belief, and how wrong man can be on interpreting the truth for making our world a better place to live.

he may even point to the fact that the presence of a messiah is not important to solving many of the conflicts, it is man's shortcomings and weaknesses that prolong the many conflict from one generation to another.
waiting for a messiah is not woth our time.

how true can you get as reality?

yes! but know you that the anti-christ will come first and he shall bring peace to the middle east for a short while (3.5 years) and then a period of trouble for a further 3.5 years. beware lest you take the anti christ as the messiah. i pray for the Lord Jesus to come soon, but other things must first ahppen before He does. some of that we have begun to see now in the middle east.

It is written in Hindu scriptures that when ever oppression becomes unbearable and" Dharma" or rightful ways are threatened there is a promise that God will appear as an incarnation to fight and defeat oppression and restore moral order. We do believe in this concept.

First of all this is not a currant event question, it should be in religion.. Secondly.. Who really honestly cares when, where, why or WHO will come if at all.??

Life happens, death happens, taxes happens, you can only be sure of those 3 things. Why sit around worrying about it and wasting your life?

I don't really care what muslims believe to be honest. I'm a Christian so I believe it. But I would be very surprised if it would happen during my life.
