Squier is the low cost arm of Fender... So, there are Fender Strats (made in the USA and Mexico, these days) and the Squier Strats (made in China).

??? I dont get it. But I'll try and answer.

Squier is a brand that Fender owns and they market cheaper guitars for musicians with limited budgets. The guitars are pretty much the same accept for a few things. If you own a squier and want it to sound more like a real Fender Strat, buy some Fender noisless pickups and have your local music shop install them. You will get a way better sound.

Squier makes Strats under the Fender name. It is an overseas operation. Technically, that are strats. In reality, there are nowhere NEAR even a mexican Strat in quality.

Fender Squire Stratocaster was issued by Fender and designed by the rock lead guitarist, Billy Squire. Later became a cheaper version like Epiphone is to Gibson.

what??? Dude, Fender makes Squier strats. They are actually not that bad. They are extremely affordable, made of good woods, but the pickups kinda suck and so does the bridge. But if you are not picky in those departments, they are good.
