The weather forecaster always predicts showers/sun/wind "from the word go". Who says it? Does someone at the met office say it? Do they ring a wee bell or something?

Anyone can say go, Once the first person says it then most people wont bother repeating it, There is no point in being the second person, in fact it's a little embarrasing,

Its a very hard job to get, you need a qualification in starting stuff. Also the location of the official "GOER" is kept highly secret to prevent accidental or premature starts.
