I don't watch Emmerdale but I read about the story line in a magazine today.
I would have to say, hand on heart, I would do the same in his situation. I totally believe in euthenasia (can't spell it though).
People have the right to die with dignity when they feel the time is right. This only applies to terminally ill people though.
It is a lot of burden to put on a loved one as they will have to live with "what ifs" but no-one wants to prolong a loved ones suffering.
