When the Exxon oil spill happened they used Dawn dish detergent to remove the oil from wild life affected in the area. It is also used in many restaurant kitchens all over and even some auto repair shoppes! Dawn is an EXCELLENT grease remover and I have cleaned my own floors with it. It's as if the grease was never there. Good Luck and Live Well.

WD 40 will work but it leaves a bit of residue, which can be then removed using household ammonia.

Another very good cleaner for grease of all kinds is gun cleaner. You can buy it at sporting good stores, and some harware stores. The active incredient is 1,1,1 Trichloroethane, which smells bad, but it an excellent solvent for degreasing.
