try to accept yourself.
mexican is not all you are.
you are other things...a painter? a poet? a musician? a driver? a swimmer? a pole-vaulter? a mathematician? a scientist?
emphasize the characteristics you do like about yourself
and do those things. they are much more important than whether you are mexican or not.

You sound as though you hate your own nationality for some reason; and furthermore, you give no reason for feeling this way, other than that everybody else is Mexican. This makes no sense. It is just like me saying that I do not want to be an American, just because everybody in the country is American. God made you to be a Mexican, because that is what He wanted you to be. Even though you may see other people in your country who is living a lifestyle which you may not approve of, if that be the case, that does not mean that you have to live that king of lifestyle. All you must do is to try to live the life that God desires for you to live; and let others do as they choose. You cannot make others life the way that we want them to live. My first advise to you is to get into the Word of God, or the Bible, and allow God to help you and guide you. I hope that I have helped you maybe just a little.

What is sooo wrong with being mexican. I have seen some beautiful, wonderful, and talented people come from mexico. Its ok to stand out in a crowd. I wish I could. I am made up of about 3 races, and none of them stick out in a crowd. I wish someone would look at me and say "she is Mexican/Italian/German." To others I am just another white girl with a good tan.

You should always be proud of who you are. You can stand out from the crowd by doing something to stand out. But Mexican you'll always be, even if you change your nationality, deep inside you are a born and raised Mexican.
Love yourself first before anyone else will love you.

What's wrong with being Mexican? Your family comes from a country with a rich and ancient culture. Mexicans also, in general, have family values second to none. You should be proud of who you are, of being a member of such a vibrant culture.
You can be different and still be who you are. You could become interested in a different kind of music, for instance, and the lifestyle that goes with it. You could learn to do and like different things, like speaking French or learning to cook Asian food. You could be whoever you want to be, and STILL be a Mexican. You can be proud of your traditions, yet still be unique.
Good Luck finding out who you want to be.

I know how you feel. I used to like being exotic or just different from everybody else.
I look Hispanic, but I'm not Mexican. Heck, I'm not even Hispanic! Some people look at me hatefully, you know? I think when theysee me they think I'm an illegal Mexican. Sometimes, I just want to wear a sign.... "I'm not an illegal Mexican!". I'm not even Mexican. But what can you do? Nothing, really....

Be proud of who you are!. The Mexicans are proud of their heritage. Where I live, they celebrate "Cinco de Mayo",and have "Mexican Independence Day" Parades. I love the beautiful and colorful costumes they wear, and the little kids, all dressed up are adorable!. The Mexican eateries sell everything on the menus at 1/2 price, and I can "rack-up" on Tacos,Burritos, and Sopes. ( I love Mexican Food!). Ask your grandparents to tell you about your heritage. You should be proud to just be "who you are".

I don't really understand what you're saying. Everyone else is Mexican??? Why wouldn't you want to be what you are and can't change? Be proud of what you are cause it's all you have.
It's people like you who make the rest of us look bad.

If you want to stand out just be yourself and don't worry about everybody else. It doesn't matter what race you are. There are lots of white people, lots of Asian people, African American, and every other race. If you changed your race, you would still look like the other race. So that wouldn't change anything.
