I have heard people say that babies that die will not go to heaven because they have not been saved yet. It makes sense in a way, we are all born with the sin nature. But, what about the age of accountability? I was always taught that babies and young children have not yet reached the age of accountability and so if they died they would automatically go to heaven. What do you think about this?

I believe they will go straight to Heaven. Totally innocent souls. All children go to heaven when they are taken from us pre-maturely.

Anyone who thinks a baby wont go to heaven because it has not been saved is an a$$. What exactly does an infant need to be saved from? What sins did a baby do? Even if you believe that a baby is born with the nature to sin, it does not mean that any sins have been committed yet.

Well, besides the logic that they go into a box and decompose, if there is a heaven, I would suppose they would go there. Not like they actually did any sins. Heck, they're probably the most pure humans that go to heaven as they haven't been given the chance to commit sins.

Anyone who dies before the age of about 16-20 go to heaven.

When a baby dies it goes to heaven. The age of accountabiltiy comes at a different time for each person. It is the age that God lets you know that you have sinned and that you have done wrong.

I just think it sucks that babies and little kids have to die. If I die and I go to Heaven, which I doubt, and I find out that criminals who repent get into Heaven but kids don't, I will personally kick God in the balls.

Before, when the church taught the belief in purgatory, it was believed that all non-baptized babies went to purgatory. But now that the church does not teach the belief in purgatory much anymore, it's hard to say. It can go either way to be honest.

I believe that babies and small children that die go to heaven, because they are unaccountable for being "bad"

Maybe he sees if they grew up what would happen, and then chooses. Or maybe he looks into their subconsious beliefs. You never know, maybe some babies do believe in God and some don't.
It's whatever God thinks is right.

SOME SOLE WERE MEANT TO JUST KEEP RETURNING AND OTHERS ARE MEANT TO LIVE LIFE
