We did have sex prior to him being trimmed but I always wished he was circumcised. His problem now is that he has lasting power but he cannot reach orgasm like before. He can last all night but the only way he can reach orgasm is for me to give him a H.J. after sex. I have to use baby oil to do this now as he is very tight with no slack or loose skin left at all.
Will he eventually be able to have an orgasm with straight sex once he gets used to the new feeling of his exposed head, or maybe learn how to perform with it this way?

Getting circumcised removes the foreskin which has nerves in it. It exposes the penis head permanently. He has adjusted to a foreskin over his lifetime and gotten used to how it feels during sex and how to work it to achieve an orgasm. Just give him some time to get used to the new feeling and he will develop his own technique to climax. Guys circumcised at birth are only used to the circed feeling and would most likely have the same problem if they suddenly had a foreskin covering the head.
He may also just be a little nervous. It could just be psychological.

In the adult, circumcision removes many thousands of nerve endings that are on the foreskin. These normally add to stimulation and help the male get to an orgasm. Now that those nerves have been removed, he may learn to orgasm with less stimulation over time, or he may continue to need to finish outside of you.

Circumcision in the adult male should only be done in the case of medical necessity.

My husband was circumcised a month ago. It was a little rough going for him the first week. It is now almost completely healed and I touched it for the first time last week. The scar is still kinda pink but it looks nicer.

He is not use to the new sensation and he is also afraid of getting hurt . My husband injured himself during sex and then for the next 3 months he couldn't continue. In his mind he was stressing about it even though it wasn't something he voiced. Once he admitted it he was better.
If after he addresses his fears they this still continues then I think he needs to seek help.
