No. If they changed the tune, less people would buy ice cream. To begin with, most people wouldn't know what was driving by their house. If they used a more up-to-date song with a loud bass (for instance), people might just think it's another low-rider. But more than that, there's the power of nostalgia. Parents think back fondly to the time that they were a kid and were buying ice cream, and of course, they want to create those same memories in their children...

No because that sound is so familiar and if you change it then I won't know its the ice cream truck i will just think someone is playing music really loud!
