I love the Lakers. And every Kobe hater out there only hates on him because he is not on their favorite team. Consistently, if not historically, the Lakers have been the league's best team. Sure the Celtics have 3 more championships, but when was the last one? 1986? Since then, the Lakers have won 5 more titles in three different decades, the 80's, 90's and 00's. (1986-1987; 1987-1988, 1999-2000, 2000-2001, 2001-2002.) The Lakers have made NBA Finals appearances in the 1950's, 1960's, 1970's, 1980's, and 2000's. So keep it coming Laker haters.
The Yankees? The Lakers buckling down? Last I remember, the Yakees were coughing up a 3-0 game lead to the Red Sox! Wrong sport buddy. Gee! I wonder why you didn't mention your Knicks?

I live not far from LA and I absolutely HATE the Lakers. I LOVE it when they buckle as they've done so much in recent years. I LOVE all the turmoil and drama that takes place on their team. And I am a FIRM believer that Phil Jackson is a mediocre coach when he does not have a team of superstars. I love ANY team that plays the Lakers.
In fact I HATE the Lakers as much as I LOVE the New York Yankees.

My all-time best basketball team.
I've been a true Lakers fans since Magic came into the league.
We went through some ruff times in the early 90's but I stuck with them. Shaq coming to LA was the blessing we were looking for. And now this is Kobe's team.
So yeah man, it's Showtime in 07.... Kobe for 100....

Lakers fan since a decade now. Hurt me to see the team a couple of years ago. But last year they showed that the young team has a potential to be champions in the near future.

I used to and dont get me wrong i still like the lakers. It is just that Shaq dont play on the lakers anymore and so I am more of a Miami Heat fan. I like them but there not my favorite altime team!!

I loved the Detroit Pistons with the bad boys, now I like all the Texan teams, Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets and San Antonio Spurs.

i do there the most exciting team to watch. the best player in the league. you all need to stop comparing people to jordan re=spect the people in this generation. the lakers will be on top of there game.
