How is my fantasy fooball team? Please give me some advice on good backup and if I'm doing alright. This is my first year with Yahoo! so please tell me if this is good:

QB M. Hasselback
QB J. Plummer
Backup QB B. Johnson

RB S. Alexander
RB C. Benson
Bakcup RB T. Jones

WR C. Johnson
WR L. Fitzgerald
WR D. Driver
Backup WR Mark Clayton

TE J. Shockey
TE Desmond Clark
Backup TE Marcus Pollard

W/T J. Jurevicius
W/R K. Robinson

K N. Rackers
Backup K J. Wilkins

DEF NYG
Backup DEF Washington

D C. Bailey
D K. Bulluck

DL T. Polamalu
DL N. Vasher

DB L. Briggs
DB L. Fletcher

I'm also getting an offer to trade Donald Driver for Mushin Muhammad. Is this a good deal?

I am also considering dropping someone for LenDale White (since he should get goal line carries) Should I?

If anyone wants to join one of my other Fantasy Football Leagues go to http://fantasysports.yahoo.com and go to fantasy football.

If you are playing in a Yahoo league, then you only need one QB, one DEF and ONE Kicker...the rest of your roster should be made up of RB's, WR's

You can probably get away with one TE...unless someone happens to be hot scoring TD from the TE spot.

Don't worry too much about your bye weeks, but do make sure that your KEY players have early season BYE's. I got caught up one year with my Starting QB having a BYE week in the Fantasy Playoffs and I got crushed.

Give yourself room to pick up some FA hot player and even constantly change your roster by dropping and picking up players.

Your RB, WR and QB will get you the most points...your TE, K and DEF need to be fairly consistant...in other words, nobody that will get you negative points. You can even change K and Def every week, depending on who is available on the FA market.

I have won consistantly with top flight RB's and WR's...serviceable QB's and average on the rest.

Last year I had T.O. and Shaun Alexander to start the season...I was blowing everyone away, until the T.O./Eagle meltdown. However I recovered as I kept a steady flow of top RB's who wound up winning me the league.

My QB's where Tom Brady and Ben Roth...neither of which provided great stats, but they remained steady with no bad stats. Both of which I picked up in FA last year.

Good luck to you...enjoy the season.

I won't comment on the defensive players, since I don't play in leagues that use them.

Pick up White and any other backup RB's out there now before someone else does. Cut your backup Defense and Kicker (and DEF players) to make room.

You can always fill those spots on bye weeks as needed.

I don't know how many teams are in your league, but your top 3 picks - Alexander, Chad, Fitzgerald, were all good, but you hurt yourself by not taking a RB instead of Fitz (you must have picked #1 or #2 overall).

Don't trade Driver for Muhammed. That's nonsense. Bears have no passing game at all, and Driver is still Favre's go-to guy.

Provided Benson gets the #1 job (or even Jones for that matter) you might be ok. But if they split the duties, you could be in trouble.

I like the choice of Hasselbeck and Johnson at QB, plummer just doesn't work for me. I would consider picking up K Robinson as a backup WR. I don't think Rackers will have as good of a year as last due to the Cards pickup of Edge they'll have less FG this year. I would choose the colts or the pats K whoever they may be. I would choose Washington as my defense over NYG but they both work. LenDale White wouldn't be a bad pickup as a backup. I would definatley trade Driver for Muhammad. Favre isn't going to be that great this year and Driver will suffer for it.

First off, to evaluate your draft, we have to know how many teams are in your league. If there were 16 this is good, if there were 8 you could've done better.

Also, with IDP (individual defensive players), if you have "D" spots, it's always better to put linebackers there who will get you a lot of tackles. Same with the DL spots. As for DB spots, flashy players who can pick it off and take it to the house are cool, but a lot of the time it's good to just take a safety who's always in the thick of things and will record you a consistent amount of tackles every week.

Don't do it. Those players are all really old, and mostly retired.
