D-Diptheria
P-Pertussis
T-Tetanus
Diptheria is a horrible fever that you really do not want, Pertussis is what used to be called "whooping cough" which was because you coughed so hard you would "whoop" getting air back into your lungs (very bad), and tetanus is "lockjaw" which can be fatal--it is the one you can get by things like stepping on a rusty nail. All three are required for school admission in most states (if not all). You need to get tetanus boosters at least every 10 years. Check with your local health department. It's cheap insurance!!

DPT also known as DTP is Diptheria..... Varicella is the chickenpox vaccine
