If you have started developing mature features such as breasts and pubic and underarm hair, then you are probably pretty close.
If you have not started your period yet then do not assume you cannot get pregnant. Since you don't have it you do not know when it will be comming so you could be ovulating at any time and not know yet.
If you think you are going to start your period soon you can look online for period starter kits. They are usually free and come with pads and tampons and some informational pamphlets. If that isn't something you want to do then you can go to the store and pick up some different products so when you do start you have the supplies and can try different things.

Yes, you can get pregnant before your first period. Periods are at the end of the whole cycle, so you have released an egg before your first period.
I didn't know if was very close when mine started; I don't think there is a way to tell.
You should get some maxi-pads before you start so you are ready.
Do? What can one do? It happens. Nothing to do about it, really. Use "fem hygiene" products. If you get cramps, take Ibuprofen (Advil is one brand, but any brand will do -- generic is cheaper and just as good).

Well since I was 12, and first started getting them, I always had a Calendar........And I always wrote down, on the first day, only ! Started R, and then from that day forward, I'd count 28 days, and mark the next month, expect R-due, then that way no one knows what R means, your descrete about it, and you can count from there, and pretty much rely on your calendar to be pretty "Prompt" for when you should be putting either tampons,or kotex's on.....If your still a Virgin, I wouldn't recommend using tampons, until your older........I personally quit useing them all together when T.S.S., came out !!! Strictly kotex, for many years, after........But, now I'm going thru "Perimenopause" so I hardly ever have too worry about periods at all anymore, atleast not for about every 6-8, months, I dont have to worry........Good-Luck,to you.....

yes you can get pregnant right before you start your period.
dont sell yourself short for any man. wait until you find the one. its gift that you should keep until your ready.
sometimes before your period you get moody. like REALLY moody. and you can feel bloated and sometimes have cramps. but there really is no way to tell. just be prepared with pads or tampons and an extra pair of underwear wherever you go.
at first, use pads. tampons are scary enough at first, you dont need them with a whole new expierience! after you get it, talk to your mom or a female friend or family member or even teacher. they can help you make decisions about what products to use and so forth.

No you can't get pregnant before you have your period. How do you know you are close? If you want to know what to do after it's best to ask your mom or a an adult woman in your life. They can explain better than some stranger on here.

If you're too shy to ask your mom, you should ask someone older in school who does have their period. If you are really involved with someone.....Condoms will definitely not get you pregnant! Becareful!

If you think you're close to it - then tell your mom. and why do you want to know if ou can get pregnant be4 ur period?because it's a no.and when you get ur period - it may sound funny but put some toilet paper and tell ur mom

always keep extra pads and all and it can be pretty annoying so just chilla nd yea..if you are very very close to getting it..u can get preg
