Do you notice you get more attention and compliments when you do, and do you find it flattering if a man on the street or at the mall would compliment you on them? Is this appropriate or would you rather not be approached?

I always wear stockings and a garter belt and I am always getting compliments on my legs from the men, and my "pantyhose " from the women. I never tell then they are stockings, just that they are uptra sheer nylons from Europe. I really couldn't work all day in pantyhose, and thi highs itch my legs as much as pantyhose itch my butt.
If thy ask me the brand I give it to them and the web site that I buy them from. Actually I like it when someone notices enough to mention it. With so many women going bare legged and improperly dressed at work, I appriciate the fact that when you make the effort to dress properly , it is noticed.

Not be approached. It would be kind or awkward if some random person you don't know came up to you and complimented you on something that is considered a sex symbol. Kind of like someone complimenting a woman with big boobs or something. But that is just me. Some women wear skimpy clothes to get the attention.

Well, I'd feel weird just to be approached by a guy I don't know, regardless of whether he was talking about my stockings or not. But if I was talking with him already, and he complimented my stockings, I'd probably feel good about that.

It depends. I personally don't mind being eyed from afar. But if a man is at my feet practically drooling, I feel violated and find the entire situation awkward and creepy.

if a man came up to me and complimented me on my stockings, etc, he'd be on the ground clutching himself quite soon---it's kinda pervy--really....
So's the touching of the fabric of the dress/jacket, etc and saying "that's nice, silk?", good way to lose some teeth.
If you want to compliment, a wolf-whistle from a safe distance will do the trick. Anything else, you risk getting your *** kicked by my manolos

i would like the idea of it, but would not like a male to stop me in the street like that. that owuld be weird and i would wonder if he is a weirdo.
