You could have light brown highlights.

I think it would look really nice if you have dark hair, and then caramel highlights throughout to lighten it a bit, and to bring out your beautiful color of skin

what is your hair color?
are you doing the color and highlights yourself? (not recommended)
you want a big change? (green color with orange hi-lite)
or just an enhancement? (brown color with honey blond hi-lite)
my recommendation is to see a good hair stylish dear.
