As Pepsi was initially intended to cure stomach pains, many believe Bradham coined the name Pepsi from either the condition dyspepsia (stomachache or indigestion) or the possible one-time use of pepsin root as an ingredient (often used to treat upset stomachs).

Either way yours would be PEPTSI.

I have heard nothing of this because I got rid of cable tv and only watch dvds and listen to npr radio, and surf relaiable online news sources. Pepsico is meaningless and disgusting, and its not surprising that it wants to step up and have something to say in all the hype. Someone answered that its a jewish company, and Id like to know how that means anything either! there are a million reasons why NONE of YOU should be buying pepsi and this may be another reason , but whatever. We live in a world where the obvious differences between the smart and the dull are becoming strikingly apparent.
