Do it the right way. It is going to eventually catch up with you and be on your credit.
Be a person of good character not rotten scum.
Good luck!

If you break the lease the landlord can and will hold your deposit. You may even be sued (unlikely, but still a chance). You also may have an unlawful detainer placed on you for not giving proper notice.
In the end it will be up to you. If you want to keep a clean rental history, I say you should just pay it, but move in the mean time, or work out some type of pay schedule.
Since you are not moving back to where you live now, you may just want to get up and move- i am not sure how they do rental checks in other states.
Good luck!

Always do the legal thing...you never know..not to mention financial matters tend to come back and haunt you if they are not abide by...I've done this twice...1st time it was rented immediately...second time I had to pay 3 months until the lease was over...and I had moved to another state already...just to be on the safe side...pay it until it rents out.

You should break it but you should talk to them sometimes if it's a larger company they might have apartments to where your moving to and you can just transfer your lease. My sister did this.

I would suggest sticking to your lease because you dont want it on your credit that you abandoned or owed money because its hard to get it off of your credit once its on there. Just wait it out

i personaly think that you should stay until the 3rd because you don't what to have to pay for something that you are not using anymore and you don't know it could be months until someone else moves in. i hope this helps.
