Describe the employee as an "assett" to the company. Explain how he/she goes out of their way to get the job done. Let them know that this person is reliable, efficient and capable. Describe what a pleasure it was to train this person in their current position and how quickly they caught on. It's kind of you to seek help in your letter of recommendation. I hope this person appreciates all that you are doing.

Be concise and to the point. Don't be too flowery and positive with general terms. Say if they are dependable, goes beyond what is asked, is a team player, cheerful, easy to work with, has leadership skills, rarely is sick and is punctual, meets deadlines, etc...
Employers don't want long letters they want things to the point. Also add all of your contact information so that you can easily be reached and let them know that your more than happy to be called. I hope this helps. Good luck!
