The people attending these Festivals NEVER clear up their rubbish, and complain bitterly about the locals cluttering up the area.

Festivals can provide a great location for live music and performance. It's all part of experience to endure the outdoors, weather, noise, porta loo's, dodgy fast food, people...but there's no excuse for the amount of rubbish we leave behind for the 'few' volunteers to pick up afterwards. Maybe because it's not in our own back yard, we kind of disrespect the place, and the local community, as we are only passing through. I'm sure if we had more respect, we'd get more councils voting for festivals in their area because it benefits the local economy...and we take our crap home. Everyone wins.

Ive never been to one and never want to. The idea of sleeping in a tent, not washing for 3 day and being surrounded by BO for three days is not my idea of a weekend well spent!
