Which state do you like best and least? Or, do you feel the same way about both of them?

My picks:
Favorite: Tennessee. Beautiful country, great cities with deep music history (Memphis and Nashville,) great weather, true Southern culture, friendly people, booming economy, just a great state! Plus, Rocky Top is a really cool state song!

Which means, of course, my last pick would be Kentucky. If I could describe that place in one word, it's "sucky." The land is beautiful, but that's about it. The cost of living and taxes are overpriced given the very slow growth rate in its economy. Also, the schools are NOT much to brag about, and the people are rude, unwelcoming, and narcissistic, for the most part.

Well, I moved to east TN about a year ago. I am not crazy about the town I live in, Morristown, but the surrounding area is beautiful. The humidity is flat out nasty, I hate it. I had a chance to go to Memphis, I liked that area. Not as pretty as East Tn, but hey, it had Beale Street, Home of the Blues and that was AWESOME. I think I would really like the Nashville and Chatanooga areas, I hear they are great places to live. Knoxville is too congested and the freeways are a joke. I moved from Northern California, and I do really miss it. I lived near Sacramento and it was close to the beach, mountains, red woods, everything!!! Very diverse cultrure and very friendly people. Much nicer than Southern CA!!!!:)
