It depends on where in Scotland as to whether it's a good or indifferent wage.
It's below the national average wage but considerably above minimum wage (including the bonus).
But in Edinburgh it's not a lot of money to live on, whereas in the grim wastes of the highlands it's probably not too bad.

Looks like minimum wage for a skivvy job, at 40 hours per week it'll earn you enough money to live comfortably but you probably won't be able to afford that car you wanted.
I would look for something £6 per hour or more, depending on the job of course. Cleaners get about £8 per hour.

I would guess it would depend on your age and experience, also what sort of targets you would have to meet to achieve the bonus payments, as well as who you have to provide for.
If you are a young single person with few outgoings then I would say that it is not bad at all, have you checked against other companies and the wages / salary they pay for similar work in your area ?, probably worth doing, as would looking at the potential for training and advancement in the company.

it's a good offer if your classed as being at the bottom of the ladder! I hope you don't have any qualifications above GCSE or a lot of experience in this field. x Oh and that your not over 22 years as this is below the national minimum wage for 22 +

It sounds poor from here in England, but I don't know if the difference is just regional.
I could get more here being a factory cleaner!
