I use floor wipes by domestos. They are very good and they leave a nice smell.
I also use an old tea towel to dry it off sometimes if i'm in a rush to walk on it

i watch this show called clean -a- holics and this lady said tht babby wipes do the trick too...aldo for tables made from wood and to keep the floor shiney this lady said she used babby oil.
and for a nice smell i would start by mopping the floor and in the mop bucket or on the mop add some cloths conditioner (e.g lenor comfort) ome that smells nice and then the fragrance should stay while you wipe down with babby wipes besides babby wipes smell nimce anyway don't they, anyway i hope this will help your cleaning difficulties and if you live in the U.K and have satalite or cable the channel is discovery hone and health and the programme is on at 8pm daily not weekends!
