Practice!
Seriously ... try imaging - meaning try practicing shots in your mind & then make the adjustment in your mind if you miss a shot - all in addition to actual practice should do the trick

Just practice shooting all day and for rebounds, just leap as high as you can. Rebounds are about desire, determination and dedication
well there are many different techniques which you could use to imrpove your shooting. One of them is pretty basic which is to keep shooting and trying Pro nba players make something like 1000 shots a day or something in order to keep their range.
Another method is to make sure you position your self right and hold the ball properly. One of the errors which many players make during the game is rushing the shot. If you rush the shot the chances of you making it are 0-15%.
Another way is by watching videos. I have seen a particular video which is solely related to how you could improve your shooting. This video consists of many different techniques which may help you. Hope this has answered your question about shooting. As far as the rebounding is concerned one of the main factors is your jump and way you handle the ball. Make sure you are jumping at the right time not too late not too early. And when handing the ball if you are in traffic use one of your hands to move it around unless both of your hands are able to reach the ball.

Get a good look at the basket and get your form right and don't change it.

Improving your shot:
You need to practice everyday until you get better. But you need to practice the right way. Look at the back of the rim and vision the ball gonig through. Have your shooting hand at a 90 degree anglewith your other hand supporting the ball. jump and release the ball at the top of your jump. Flick the wist and follow through and very soon you will be the sharpest shooter.
Rebounds:
You need to be fearless and determined for this. Most important you just need to box out the opponent. Even if the other guy is way bigger boxing out still works. They cant get around you and if they push you over you'll get a call.
for rebounds, jump higher. if you short, good luck with them.

To improve your shot you need to practice, in 8th grade i sucked, made only one shot during the season, so all summer before high school i would practice all of my shots, lay-ups, shots in the key, 15 footers, etc... try to practice to shoot with one hand if you are shooting with two, an easy way to help with this is to keep your non-shooting hand straight, (I used one of those velcrow mits that are used to catch a ball)...over time it just comes easier, i was even a starter freshmen year because of my practice... for rebounds always remember BUTT in the GUT... when the shot goes up, find someone to box out don't even think of where the ball goes, just make sure that the person you're boxing out does not get the ball... if you and your teammates do this than you will have no problem getting the ball with each rebound...just use your body to help box out...

Work on your follow through. Make sure your whole body is lined up with the basket. When you rebound, jump high and protect the ball (cover it). Throw the ball off the backboard and keep practicing that. Take around 500 shots a day and stick to one way of shooting.
