You should contact career counseling at Kent State to get a better idea of pay scales.
Also you can check out the Bureau of Labor Statistics http://data.bls.gov

I would say you could start out making $12/hour (maybe $15). Later you could possibly work your way to Help Desk manager, and possibly make $25/hour. This is for the San Francisco Bay Area.
If you want to do better, get a high-end network certificate (cisco CCAN or equivalent for another manufacturer) along with Windows 2003 certification, and then you could possibly become a network administrator and make more.
Learn Linux, and be your own consultant and make 6 figures after awhile.

It all depends on what part of the country, in DC you're looking at 60's maybe 70's if you have a clearence. In a place like South Carolina maybe 40's. So if we gave you the national range you're looking at low 40's to high 70's depends on where you want to live. You should add your location next time

That would depend on what where you live or want to live.
More on the coasts than in the middle of the country, but you shouldn't be eating hot dogs or spam unless you want to and I hope you buy a house asap. And keep up your training
I would say about $25 an hour (this takes into account the fact that you might want to live in the middle of the country and it probably). Also, most people I know in this industry are salaried rather than hourly, but that could also depend on who you work for.
I'm willing to bet you get a better answer than mine, but hated to leave you hanging. (Its a mom thing.)

How much experience do you have?
If you're just starting out you can make anywhere from 30-40k/yr for an entry level position. With the same credentials and a few years experience 40-50k/yr. it depends on the company and your job capacity.

$18-$25 an hour starting out
Get a few more certifications under your belt, plus a specific direction (desktop, security, network, systems, software solutions) - some project management experience won't hurt either - and you can drive up your price.

My hubby was in IT. He made a lot of money for a while, but then the industry crashed. You sound like you would do great, but there is not as much money in it anymore. No matter how good you are.
