I think Harrahs because they have the best customer service ANYWHERE in Vegas. They also have the best bar. You have to check out the "Carnival Court" in between Harrahs and the Imperial Palace. Bartenders do flair and they have live music all the time... SO FUN!!!

I like Gold Coast. Its cheap. Its off the strip though. They have a bus that goes to their other properties, Barbary Coast on the strip and the Orleans. From Barbary Coast you can walk over to the Monorail that runs the strip. At the Orleans they have movie theatres if you get tired of gambling. The Gold Coast is located across the street from the Palms (very hot with celebrities) and next door to RIO both have great night clubs. RIO have the best free show on the strip with their Marde Gras. If its cheap gambling you want go to the Fremont St. The Golden Nugget is nice. There is also a bus that looks like a cable car that goes from casino to casino on the strip for about $1.00 so its cheaper than cab fare. Beware of taxis, ask them to take you where you want to go but not down the strip. The traffic is so bad you will rack up a big cab bill just trying to get a few blocks. I hope you have a great time.

Any Hotel or Resort will be set up in the same fashion: to get you to stay and/or go to their Casino. However, if you are looking for an amazing place to stay at great rates I would do a query search at www.hotels.com. More often than not they have amazing rates for all the big name resorts and hotels (I have stayed at the Bellagio, MGM, Palms, and a few other places for less than $70 a night). However, the prices will vary pending on the time of season you anticipate going. Also, all hotels/resorts have tourist information desks either in the main lobby or there abouts. Check in with them and they will be able to give you great rates to all sorts of shows and other forms of entertainments. Another thing to help you find more exciting things to do in Vegas is to take the flyers from the people who are handing them out in front of all the casino entrances. They will provide you with information on other shows/venues that may be having 1/2 price rates plus a meal or comp drinks if you go to a certain show at a certain time (I often find great deals to magic shows, comedy acts, or musical venues when I go scouting this way). One more tip I can give you is if you want to get more to eat for your money go to casinos and hotels that are not located on the strip. These places serve amazingly good food for less as part of a promotion to get you to come into their casino (I personally like the Flamingo as it still has a deal where you can get 2 20oz steak dinners with two comp drinks for aprox $20). However, it is all up to you and as I said before if you don't really know your way around, the tourists' information desk in the place you want to check out when you check in. Best of luck to you and have lots of fun.

NEVER stay at the Wynn. Just came from there, what a waste of money. It is just another Holiday Inn as far as I am concerned. What a bunch of overblown hype. It does not have a single redeeming feature...the worst is the snotty staff-with-giant-attitudes. We had a rotten time there. Stay at the Bellagio.

We stayed at the Sahara which was pretty reasonably priced and right on the strip. Also, across the street from it was the monorail so and you can rigde the strip all night. Great place to stay

We just spent a week at the Luxor, and it was a BLAST! WE still needed a car to get around to see EVERYthing, but that would be true no matter where you stay.

Have fun. We certainly did!
