This is probably easy, but everything to do with computers is difficult for me until I have done it a hundred times. Can I get a computer help buddy who I can e-mail with my relentless trivial problems e.g.downloading music and movies?

Just paste the image into a word document and from there shrink it down. Pretty simple

Yes it is easy supose i have asumed that U have photo on CD then just copy it from there and past it on word document then just click on photo and then a border will appear put your mouse on there an arrow will appear by which U can resize your photo for furthere detale just contact with me

u can mail me at j2v2k6-tech@yahoo.co.in, u need not to resize ur photo and cut paste. just open the photo copy it from the edit menu (u need a picture viewer software for this) now open word and click paste now u can resize it using the diagonal up and down markings

Mihov Image Resizer will cut down an image in size and number of kb used. go to http://www.mihov.com/eng/ and get it, as well as any others you might want...
