I feel it is because he might feel very dissillusioned, after years and years of hard work, to bring up certain factions of people with both "soft methods" ( giving benefits and stuff ) and harsh methods ( warnings and scoldings etc ), the very people whom he is trying to help are turning around and stabbing him in the bottom.

Furthermore, from the newspapers, it looks like the same faction of people are accusing him of trying hard to stamp them out. If i was doing so much and gettingblasted in return, I think I would be just as edgy too haha.

Leaders like Tunku A.Rahman, Tun Mahathir , Sen Minister Lee ( of Singapore ) or even the King of Thailand, are of the era of leaders that brought in the "success" age of their individual nations, I think they do have a wee bit of rightto whine and rant a bit if they want to. They are NOT saints or sages, they have they quirks and flaws and rubbish just as any one of us ( every major leader has skeletons in closet... Clinton, arroyo, Suharto...etc butthey work hard for their countries ) I guess unless i am willing to jump full force into politics and really bullfight my way into improving my nation's situations, I better not make too much negative judgements on them coz despite their drawbacks, or in this case his drawbacks, Tun Mahathir has really brought the Malaysian nation 3 jumps into a future which Malaysia might not have achieved if the leaders were too lenient and soft.

excuse me, he is not angry, he is just speaking up to tell some brutal facts and seeking answers just like majority of Malaysians in some unresolve issues. ever heard of freedom of speech? there is nothing wrong with his recent vocal dramas, he is merely doing his duty as a responsible and concern Malaysian citizen. some people write to the Editorial in papers to show and relate their concerns. he just did it in a different way because he can afford to, what is wrong with that? nothing wrong, is just out of the norm so therefore many of us can't accept it. i think is alright if some people can't accept it because his intention is not to seek for everyones approval and respect. respect him for the way he is - straightforward, concern, blunt, and direct.
