I have not had a period in about four year have also been experiencing hot flashes can I still get pregnant?

Honey, you have "Officially" gone through menopause, if you haven't had a period, in 4 years!!! My sister & I are experiencing "Perimenopause" in our mid-forties, and its not Officially Menopause, until you have missed, for one, complete year,and thereafter, according to my book, I bought on the subject........We,both have all the signs of Menopause, but, the book says, its not, actual menopause, unless, we've missed a whole year.... And we get the "Hot-Flashes" and all that, but , only go 6-8, months these past couple years, without periods !! You couldn't possibly be pregnant, without ovulating, and you cant be ovulating if your not getting periods........ You see...Its definately Menopause, I could be wrong, but, double-check with your Gyno, just in case somethings wrong, you definately want too catch it, before you go any longer, this way, especially if your too young for Menopause!!! it sounds like you have menopause but in the 21rst, century women are having kids up until the age of 60. having hot flashes and being pregnant could be possible. things happen, technology, medicine, and GOd can make anything possible. have faith and go see your gynecologists and specialists that can help you. good luck

It would still be possible. Go to your doctor and he/she can take a test to measure your hormone level and then they can tell you for sure if you can stilll get pregnant or not, hope this helps x

Sometimes drug use or excessive dieting can halt your periods. If neither of these apply, you are probably already experiencing menopause.

i doubt it. sounds like you went thru menopause. your dr can test you for that
