Were they attacked first this time? NOT that I know of .....
They want credibility but thier actions are and have been clear.

Israeli air strikes resumed in southern Lebanon on Monday, less than 12 hours after Israel announced a two-day suspension in the wake of dozens of civilian deaths.

So who is to blame for making Israel fire rockets this time?

Israel is going to blame Hezbollah again.
Check out some of the stories on the Drudge Report.

My favorite one for now is the Hezbollah sitting on top of a truck mounted artillary piece in a residential neighborhood.

This is getting old. Once again, pay attention, Israel did not agree to a cease fire. They have clearly stated that they would attack missile sites, what rock are you guys living under? It must be getting crowded in there, because this question just keeps coming up!

What are you talking about? Clearly you have very short term memory. Let me remind you....that BUT FOR Hezbollah going on Israel soil, killing 8 soldiers, and kidnapping 2 other soldiers, Israel would not be attacking Hezbollah strongholds in Lebanon to get its soldiers back, and destroy Hezbollah for attacking it with missiles in Israel, and Lebanese people would not be in cross fire.

Israel has been fighting the Muslim terrorists for decades. Since the terrorists have embedded themselves within cities (and the government of these nations have allowed it), Israel is trying to deal with the terrorists as best as it can, and while absolutely trying to avoide civilian casualty, it is not alway successful. The world is up an arm about that, but they are not up in arm with the Muslims are intentionally targeting civilians, whether through suicide bombers, or hitting targets into cities with the direct intention of killing civilians. What a world we live in!

Is the cause of this one-sided support for the Muslim anti-semitism? Perhaps. But maybe it is also fear of what would happen if the world tries to deal with the Muslim world and its barbaric and savage behavior. I think that fear of escalation is what grips these world leaders who oppose dealing with the Muslim world's substantial extreme and terrorist element.

The numbers are staggering. There are 1.2 billion Muslims in this world. Lets take a very liberal view that only a very small percentage of Muslims are exterme, while the rest of the Muslim world is very peaceful (I don't believe that at all. I believe that 51%+ of Muslims take an extereme point of view, becasue that is how they were conditioned by dictatorial regimes). So if only 10% of Muslims have extreme point of views, and may be a threat, and must be dealt with, meaning dealing with 120 million Muslims! How about 1%? Then you must deal with 12 million Muslims. How about 1/10 of a percent? Then you must deal with 1.2 million Muslims. The numbers are staggering! How do you propose dealing with even the "very low" figures of 1.2 million Muslim extremists? This is a grave and dangerous situation, but it has to and will be dealt with. Whether by global support or only by Israel. Israel has no choice!

How do you propose to deal with a country that its leader calls for "wipping Israel off the face of the earth." We are not talking about a an extreme leader of a small group who spews rhetoric. We are talking about the leader of Iran, a country that is feverously working on building a nuclear weapon to use on Israel, and once it is done there, it will force its ways on other countries. Europe, who have supported Islamic nations, and have been very anti-Israel since Israel was established in 1948, are beginning to pay the price with its growing Muslim population and having substantial social issues caused by Muslims. When will they learn? Don't they know that once Israel is "wipped off the earth" that they would be next!

Russia is also a major player in this situation. It has provided the Muslims with weapons and supplies. Must we remind the issue with the Muslims in Chechnya? The war against Islamic terrorism is a global war. If these countries do not wake up now, drop their view about short-term gain from selling arms to the Muslims, and take a look at long-term approach and hopeful prosperous and peaceful Middle East for the sake of the world over, it will pay the price down the line. The Muslims want Israel now, but they will want the world over next.

they said they would not attack targets, except for targets that launch missles.

That means, no weapons cache targets, nor hezbollah personell targets.
