I will defend my side. They are human beings and just because they are my parents, it doesn't mean that what they think and say I believe to be the best for me at all times. Sometimes my point of view needs to be heard as well.

No. I get along with my mom great but am not afraid to tell her something bad if it needs to be said. I don't talk to my dad but stood up to him in the past because he treated me and my mom like crap so we don't see him anymore. I agree with you though, too many people are scared of their parents and they shouldn't be, especially if their parents are mean and are mistreating them.

first remember they are older so might know lots of things.stateyou case clearly and accept the answer you get or leave if its a big deal.try not to be pushy.

nah , i stopped when i got older (23) i just go with the flow now. if i dont like ehat they say, i still agree and secretly do what i want anyway.
