What kind of bug is about 2 inches in length with a rectangular shaped body and kind of redish brown colored?

We think this bug came home from Virginia with us. It has long antennae, and wings that lay flat against its back.

sounds like a cockroach. if its ungodly quick and hard to kill that's a definite. If it's already dead then you probably have no worries just make sure you wash your clothes and maybe your bags to make sure no other ones came with.
