It is not a hoax. 100% guarantee. We can bounce a laser off of a mirror that the first Moon landing left on the moon to determine exactly how far away the moon is. (Result = the Moon is moving away from the Earth at about 1 inch a year.)

There are many people who don't believe for many reasons. One of the major ones is that you cannot see stars in most of the pictures taken from the moon. This has to do with the types of cameras being used, and the shutter speed on the camera was to fast to capture enough of the star light to make an image on the film.

There are many conspiracy theories and also many sites disproving them. A simple yahoo search will bring up tons of info on this.

It happened. 13 times (1 failure with no landing). 2 more Moon landings were scheduled but canceled. Public interest had waned, and there was not enough public support to justify the last 2 scheduled trips. (Very sad imho.)

If we are lucky, it will happen again in our lifetime.

Edit: It is sad to see how many people are uninformed and believe these hoaxes. I guess thats how people believe planned explosions look like terrorist attacks, and how cocaine dealers get elected to office. Sorry for the rant, but WAKE UP PEOPLE!

If there is no oxygen on the moon, then there could be no wind. If this were the case...how do you explain the American Flag flapping in the breeze. The whole thing was a setup because the Russians were so far ahead of us in space technology and we didn't want them to realize it. That would have brought a different chain of events than what we have gone through. The US has always had to be the "world leader".

I'm not sure but I have seen some lunar landing pistures that were superimposed that were from two different places on the moon but it had the same rocks in the same place. Everything was exactly the same. Why don't they use the these powerful telescopes to look at the flag on the moon?

I hear it mostly from conspiracy theorists, the people who lost what little credibility they had with me after the Y2K non-event. I'm pretty sure it was real.
