It's a foal.
Here's a list of donkey/mule/horse terminology.
There will be a test tomorrow :-)
----
Jack -- an uncastrated male donkey (also known as a stallion)

Jennet -- a female donkey (pronounced as "jenny")

Gelding -- a castrated male donkey or horse

Mule -- a hybrid cross between a donkey jack and a horse mare.

Foal -- a baby donkey or horse. Either male or female gender.

Sire -- the father of a baby horse, donkey or mule.

Dam -- the mother of a baby horse, donkey or mule.

----

I think I just learned where the word "Jackass" came from!

P.S. And if someone ever calls you a "Dam jackass", then you tell them that is impossible because that a castrated male donkey could never be a mother! :-) you tell them you learned that on Yahoo answers and set them straight!

A baby donkey is called a "foal".

"Typically a baby donkey is called a foal, for both male and female. A foal is usually under 1 year old. Young male donkeys can either be referred to as a 'baby jack' or a male foal. A young female donkey can be referred to as a 'baby jenny (or jennet)' or a female foal."

Get: The offspring of a Jack or Stallion. The male is said to "get" the offspring on the female, this the collective term get for his young.

Produce: The offspring of a Jennet or Mare. The females produce the young. The term "out of" is literal in the sense that the foal was born out of that female.
