Well, if you hadn’t told her that you liked him she might take it the wrong way now-as if you’re trying to “steal” him from her, somehow. I really don’t know what to say but, definitely you should talk about it as soon as possible. If you’re true friends things are bound to work out. And, always tell your friend about the guy you fancy so as to avoid this kind of trouble in the future. Good luck; I truly hope everything goes your way.

How much do you like your BEST mate, as that's what it will all come down to. Boys come and go but friends are hard to come by. i would sit your friend down and tell her your feeling you have for him. Or you can dont make a move and try to forget about him, it will be hard and it will test your friendship, if i was you i would sit your friend down and tell her. you have not done any thing wrong, best friend should be able to talk to each other about every thing TELL YOUR FRIEND

You can't help who you have a crush on, that's why its called a crush so you can't really be upset with your friend. If your friend ends up with the boy it will be hard but you should try to be happy for her and if you end up with him she should do the same for you. You shouldn't let it get in the way of your friendship, that is the most important thing.

Depends on what you plan to do. Are you going to ask him out? If not, step back and realize that friendship is more important than some boy you never plan to approach. If you do plan to ask him out, let your friend know and let her know that you've been interested for a while and then get over there and just do it!

Depends on which one of you he likes. If you liked him for a year as you say and he hasn't shown any interest than it's time for you to move on and find another guy to get interested in. One year is long enough.
As for your mate, who knows how that will turn out either.
I once liked a guy that another girl liked and it turned out that he wasn't interested in either of us! Plus I liked he much longer that you liked your guy!

if she´s really your best friend and you really like that guy, then let him choose and be happy with your friend! I think a friend is forever and a boy is not... Show to be a good "best friend" and never let a guy to get insert on your relation. Good Luck!
