They will be ready. Its the same with ever olympics about this time in the cycle always the speculation that the hosts will not be ready. My guess is that they will come through.

As a team they have no chance and will do well not to embarrass themselves. They are busy spending FIFA's money on trying to recruit Carlos Alberto Parreira as their Manager but he has nothing to work with. They have no top players in the European Leagues, other than McCarthy who is hardly a top player, but the supporters have an inflated opinion of their ability and the resultant expectations. As far as Stadia goes I think FIFA and Septic Bladder in particular have too much to lose for those not to be in place but they will require a lot of help. The comparison to the Rugby so called World Cup is a failure to understand that Rugby is a minor sport in comparison to this event which is the biggest sporting event on the Planet, Olympics included. There are many other infrastructure and social ills that South Africa needs to address prior to 2010 and if they can successfully overcome these then it should go ahead but dont expect a Germany or a Japan/South Korea.

South Africa would be waiting for 2010 FIFA international Cup! The stadium (soccer city in Soweto) which will host the hollow and shutting fits is six months previous to time table, different stadia additionally are on aim. The FIFA delegation became right here final week and that they have been inspired with the form SA has made this a strategies. SA will tutor all the pessimists incorrect!

I think there is a timeline of things that need to get done. If South Africa doesn't follow the timeline, FIFA will take the World Cup away. I think they will be fine. It would be ashame if they let it go away. Lots of money for the country.

It wont be as good as Germany thats for sure, the games are gonna be around the same time in the morning/ mid afternoon, too bad brazil couldnt get it or the US again. South Africa automatically gets in too, so some teams will be receiving a free win

To be honest I don't know but I have serious doubts about the UK managing to get all the facilities ready for the 2012 Olympics. Projects have already been put back and when one looks at the fiasco of the new Wembley one can only shudder.
