No, I have had two children, and unfortunately it doesn't let up. Believe it or not there is a good reason for this though. As you slowly grow bigger and bigger, the more often you will have to go to the restroom because there is not much room for your bladder to expand fully. Toward the end, you will be going to the bathroom every hour to two hours, but once you have the baby you won't have that problem, but your body has prepared you for the every hour to two hour feeding that you will have to get up for during the night for the baby. Since you were doing it for so long and you built up a tolerance, however small, it is more easy to cope with the new routine of taking care of the baby continually at all hours. Good luck, your real break from sleepless nights and normalness comes around three months, but don't worry, it's a slight headache for all the joy that you will feel.

I don't think you are misinformed, my first trimester I would get up like 4 times at night. Now i am in my second trimester I don't even get up in the middle of the night anymore. I could go my whole 8 hour shift at work and not use the restroom sometimes.

Hate to tell you it gets worst. The baby is growing and is now pressing into your bladder more. I go at least 2 times an hour now and I am in my 7th month. Don't hold it in because that can cause a UTI that can affect the baby if it gets bad. when you got to go, just go. PS bring and extra pair of clothes where ever you go or work. You never know when the baby kicks the bladder and sometimes you just can't hold it.

Sorry honey!! It only gets worse. By the very end I was getting up 4 times a night to go to the bathroom. As the baby grows, your need to go increases. The morning after I had my daughter, I realized that I hadn't got up once to go. It goes away right after the baby comes out. Good luck!!

The uterus is suppose to be off the bladder now but if you are drinking the required fluids you should be going just as often. I am only 19 weeks and the getting up in the middle of night is what is getting to me.

Try doing some pelvic rocking to help move baby off your bladder.
When you go to the restroom, practice "triple voiding." After you pee, push 3 extra times to make sure that all the urine is out. You can even try to lift your belly a bit when you do this.

No, it does not ease up. It actually gets worse. The larger the baby get the more it pushes down on your bladder, so get ready for many more trips to the restroom.

It will get better after the baby is born. The baby is just going to get bigger and bigger and push more on your bladder. Then in the last month when the baby begins to drop down it will push more on your bladder. Sorry.

I think my break came between 14-20 weeks. After that, the baby always seemed to be on my bladder.

It gets worse because the baby grows and doesn't have any room to move so they end up on your bladder. Don't hold your pee crazy lady!!! You may end up peeing on yourself or getting an infection. When your baby is on your bladder, the pee will make it's way out. Trust me!!!
