I like to use C. S. Lewis' definition of a Christian: anyone who received a valid Trinitarian baptism. John Lennon was probably a Christian in that sense, but I make no judgement on whether he was a good Christian or bad.

I heard that Billy Graham had actually presented the Gospel to John Lennon once, and John chose not to believe. If this is truth, and not just a myth, then I believe that John Lennon was not a Christian. Unless he changed his mind sometime before his death, I don't think we will see John Lennon in Heaven.

I don't believe John Lennon was a Christian at all, even though I like his music. No one should be murdered period whether they are famous or non-famous.

Here is the true meaning of let it be. Let it be, dude. We will have him back, because, as George said, "the Beatles won't get back together as long as John is dead." He is a child of God, a peacemaker. Just let it be.

I believe he was more religious than you give him credit for.
And does this change your opinion of him? He deserved to be assassinated?

ask yourself what true Christian is?
Are you true to Christ, or are you true to Paul, or are you true to whatever your Church says?
Is there universal truth?
