Would you vote for Condoleeza Rice for President? what about Colin Powell? My husband and I agree we would vote for either one of them.

Colin Powell missed his shot at nomination. He'll be 71 in 2008 and he lost a lot of his credibilty after the WMD disaster. He had a shot in 2000 but he might not have beat Gore.

Secretary Rice had publically announced that she has no interest in running for president though that may have changed. I'm not sure that the Republican base can accept a black, female candidate right now. You'd certainly pull a lot of votes from traditional Democrat supporters but at the cost of an alienated base. She also isn't a terribly good speaker and has little real political experience. Look for Sen. John McCain to be your 2008 Presidential nominee.

Rice I don't really care for, as she's just a puppet with Bush's hand up her skirt. Powell though I would vote for in a heartbeat! I wish he would reconsider stepping into the political arena.

I would vote for Powell before I would Rice because she is just a Bush puppet.

I might consider voting for Powell but not Rice. It is pointless for me to answer though because I am a Canadian citizen.
