I read on the internet that Michael Jackson wanted to play "Plastic Man." It would cost $60 million to film, with his production company. No further word on this.

Movies are relatively easy, because this is usually announced when done so. I used the Wikipedia list of movies as a basis, and then edited it, to take out those that might not be made (that are only in pre-pre production and may be canceled), and I added in a few more. This list includes just the superhero movies, rather than the graphic novels of real life. Though it may be iffy what exactly a superhero is, I tried to stick to that.
