I have drove many different trim levels of the H3 and I own an H2 Victory Red Limited Edition. The H3 would be perfect for you. Actually, the H3 was designed more for ladies, though it still has the ruggedness for male drivers. If equipped with the Off-Road Package the H3 can go pretty much anywhere an H2 will go. Basically, it is a smaller more fuel efficient H2. The interior is very high quality, especially with the Luxury Interior. The Light Cashemere Leather is the best color interior by my opinion of any mid-size vehicle available. The ride is very smooth with or without the Off-Road Package. Their are so many accessories that you can buy for an H3 that is unbelieveable. The engine is a 3.5 I-5 cylinder and has plenty of power, even though car magazines says it lacks power(they are bias towards foreign cars). It is truely one of best vehicles ever built. I love my H2 and I would like to have an H3 for every day driving. Once you buy a HUMMER you will never want to buy any other make of vehicle ever again. The guy that said buy a FJ Cruiser is totally wrong and probably works for foreign auto maker.
P.S. - You look really hot in your picture.

Get a Trailblazer. The H3 is designed on the Tralblazer chassis but uses the underpowered Colorado inline 5 cylinder engine. My Trailblazer cost less, has more power and gets better (real world) gas mileage and is easier to park. Also the little windows in the H3 make it harder to drive as their are more blind spots. BTW it will cost around $55 to fill it up at current prices.

Actually, they have received terrible reviews in the automotive press. They do not get anywhere near the "estimated" gas mileage, and they are based on the Chevy Colorado mid-size pickup truck, which is the worst pick-up in it's class.
Sorry hon, but the HUmmer is the worst choice in that class. The Nissan Pathfinder or Toyota FJ Cruiser are better in every aspect, and cheaper to own in the long-run. If you buy the Hummer, don't say I didn't warn you about 15-16mpg average.

i test drove one, and liked it. the engine is weak. bottom line. the same engine in the colorado feels like a 4 cylinder.
you won't get 26mpg out of it. you'll be lucky to get 20 combined out of it.
i liked the interior, it was really nice for a GM product. the greenhouse sucks. it's close, and dark, and harder to see out of than alot of suvs.
it's more expensive than it's competition. but definetely is cool looking.
what are you doing with it? honestly, if it's just going to be a DD, then there are other things which look as good, get better gas mileage, and are packaged better.
if you are going off-roading in it, it's a good vehicle. remember that decent off-road tires are goign to change the ride. and highway performance is less of an issue. the engine runs fine around town and in the dirty-slow stuff.
i really liked the interior, it's just the engine gets normal v-6 suv mileage, with I4 suv power.

Decent truck, above average in safeness. Decent power. Alright MPG for a truck. 220 horsepower. Has alot of space inside. A problem is On the plastic part above windshield, the plastic cracked and didnt know why, I talked with the dealer and they said they were working on fixing this, because many people had the same problem.

they get better gas mileage than ever before due to their straight 5 engine, and they are very good SUV's. don't listen to all these hippys who believe every word al gore says. take a test drive and decide for yourself. also check out trailblazer and envoy.

Do NOT get one. They are an overrated piece of junk. and the gas mileage isn't really that good, it's just average. Do NOT get one. This is your last warning.
